Ski Dubai, in partnership with Dubai Sports Council and CRANK Fitness, celebrated the winners of the groundbreaking Snow Duathlon today, a first-of-its-kind event combining running and stationary cycling in sub-zero temperatures. A diverse field of 209 athletes from 49 nationalities, including 35 Emiratis, pushed their limits in this unique winter endurance challenge.
Elite Athletes Dominate the Ice
The competition saw fierce battles across categories:

Women’s Elite (5km run + 5km cycling): Michala Radomska claimed gold with a blazing time of 0:36:68.

Men’s Elite: Hallvard Borsheim secured victory at 0:27:82.

Individual Categories: Emirati stars shone as Kalthoum Al Maazmi (Women’s, 0:30:73) and Omran Shkair (Men’s, 0:22:56) topped their races.

Teams: Comando Group dominated with an average time of 0:19:63.
A New Summer Fitness Tradition
Following the record-breaking DXB Snow Run, the Snow Duathlon reinforces Dubai’s commitment to innovative year-round fitness. “This event proves that adrenaline and adventure thrive even in summer,” said a Ski Dubai spokesperson. The next challenge? The 16th Ice Warrior Challenge this September.
