HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and President of the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club (ADEC), has revealed a significant enhancement in the prize money for the UAE President’s Cup for the Arabian Purebred Horses Classic Series, organized by ADEC and scheduled for February 2024. The total prize pool has surged to AED 4.5 million, solidifying its status as one of the most lucrative races on both local and international fronts.

The top-tier prize has been elevated to AED 2.5 million for the first-place winner, followed by AED 1.5 million for the second-place finisher, AED 250,000 for third place, and AED 125,000 for fourth place. The prize amounts for the remaining positions remain unchanged, with fifth place receiving AED 75,000 and sixth place AED 50,000.

The UAE President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses Classic Series consistently draws a stellar array of champion horses each year. Anticipation for this prestigious event is high, with owners, stables, and trainers showcasing their top jockeys and horses, all vying for the coveted title.

The race captures the attention of horse racing enthusiasts worldwide, with millions tuning in live on television, online platforms, or cheering from the stands at the Abu Dhabi Equestrian Club (ADEC).

HE Eng. Ali Al Shaiba, Director General of ADEC, expressed profound gratitude for the directives of HH Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the Presidential Court, and President of ADEC. These directives led to a substantial increase in the prize money for The UAE President’s Cup for Purebred Arabian Horses Classic Series, now totaling AED 4.5 million, an annual event organized by the club.

HE Al Shaiba emphasized the special significance of this cup, established by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, stating that over three decades, it has evolved into one of the most globally renowned events in the Arabian Purebred Horses Classic Series, offering valuable prizes.
